I recently found these beautiful Needlepoint Cushion Canvas only Kits. They come from New Zealand and they struck me as Vibrant and Fun! The stunning color schemes and funky patterns appeal to me and I wanted to share them with you.
I’ve just ordered two of them, Anemone and Starfish as I’m definitely a beach person. Have a look, I think you will agree that they are Unique and Very Interesting. I have included links to the website if you would like to order some.
Please let me know what you think! I really like these and would very much appreciate your opinions as well.

ANEMONE - The bright flowers, the cool sea breeze, and the squeals of delight and laughter in the air as kids and dogs play at the water’s edge. |
BELLA-BLUE - Fantasy of Italian summers - this design has a light quality about it, much like flowers floating in a pool. |
|
CASA-LIME - This color scheme uses fresher colors and is not quite as ‘hot’. Would combine well with a citrus color decor. |
CASA - Casa has been inspired by Mexican colors and shapes and is bigger than the other designs - being more of a pillow shape. |
|
CHRYSANTHEMUM - Influenced by tifaefae quilts from the Cook Islands. |
HIBISCUS-STRIPE - Think surf and sand, tropical island paradise and sleepy afternoons. |
|
LOTUS - This design is still one of my favorite designs as there are plenty of color changes and interest to keep stimulated. |
MIDNIGHT-GARDEN - Red hot color and big heavy dahlia heads, growing up with daisy and lobelia. When I can’t sleep at night I think about my garden at the beach. I name all the plants I can think of, and plan what I’m going to plant next. So much more colorful than counting sheep! |
|
PADDOCK - This is easy to pick up and put down - with interesting bits to do as well. Karen our sampler loved doing this one. |
PARADISE-FOUND - Medieval illuminated manuscripts have inspired this design. |
|
ROSA - A fantastic combination of colors which will look good anywhere, all the time! |
STARFISH - In the shallows basked the anemones and starfish and leaves. Soft turquoise, pinks and greens gives the impression that this design is under a shallow layer of water. |
|
TALL-POPPIES - This is a soft and floaty design. |

“Aloha Kristina,
Received my two needlepoint canvas kits the other day. I’m real pleased with their quality, but also wish to let you know how much I appreciated the extras you sent along with it.
I was especially pleased because I have an understanding for what it entails. We have a large website selling Hawaiian fabrics with vintage motifs and until I received your package, really I thought we might be the only online shop who realizes how important that first impression can be. We also add gifts and quality wrap our fabrics.
After all, a client opening up a mail ordered order is equivalent to any first time customer walking into a shop on the street and feeling the ambiance of the store.
Keep up the good work. Mahalo.”
