She’s 91 and legally blind but stays busy with quilting and crocheting afghans, much of which goes to worthy causes.
“The Woottons moved to Houghton Lake, opened a grocery store, and Amy later went to work in a doctor’s office. In 1975, she and George started coming to the Englewood area and they moved for good in 1990. (He passed away in August 2004.)
All along, Amy sewed. And quilted. And did needlepoint, crocheted, etc.”
